Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you book any of our activities as it details important information. The terms and conditions below apply to all attendees.The Terms shall be deemed to have been accepted by the Parent upon payment of the fee at the time of booking.

The Chapel Gate Football Centre is run in conjunction with Set Piece Soccer Academy and Bournemouth Sports Football Club (SPSA/BSFC) at the Bournemouth University Sports Campus.

We reserve the right to make amendments to our Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in our business or statutory obligations. Any changes will be communicated to all our customers.

In the unlikely event of a customer failing to abide by these terms and conditions, their child may be requested to discontinue sessions at the Chapel Gate Football Centre. In this instance, SPSA/BSFC will be under no obligation to provide a refund for any outstanding sessions.

BOOKINGS : You must provide us with specific personal information to book a session with us. This includes parents contact information and the name and age of the child.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION : Sessions are booked and paid for in advance. Once payment has been received, your place at that session(s) will be reserved. If you miss the session for any reason, we are unable to refund you and you will not be entitled to a credit or a free session in lieu.

PARENTAL/ CARER RESPONSIBILITY : Parents and players are expected to behave in a civilised and respectful manner at all times towards the Coaches, other customers and any members of the public who are on the Premises. In the event that SPSA/BSFC determines the behaviour of the Pupil and/or the Parent/Carer to be unacceptable, SPSA/BSFC shall be entitled to exclude the Pupil and the Parent/Carer (or either of them) from the football centre and Premises permanently or for such period as they shall (in its entire discretion) determine.

On arrival, all parents should sign in their child with the coach as accurate registers are taken.

Please help us start and finish sessions on time by arriving promptly for your session and taking any litter home with you when you leave. Please let the coaching team know if you have to leave the session early for any reason; this is for emergency evacuation purposes.

Parents are requested to collect their children promptly at the end of the session.

PHOTOGRAPHY/ VIDEOGRAPHY : SPSA/BSFC may from time to time take promotional photo / film for promotional literature. Any Parents/guardians that do not wish for their child to be included in promotional photos / film must make us aware.

APPROPRIATE CLOTHING : Please ensure your child is wearing athletic clothing and proper footwear for each session. There are additional rules regarding footwear for the new 3G surface and players should wear studded football boots only. Trainers, astro boots or flat shoes are not permitted. BU reception does have some spares that can be borrowed for those that may not have studs. (Please ask on arrival)

Parents should ensure that they have packed appropriate clothing for all weather conditions i.e. hat, gloves, waterproofs if raining for their child. Shin Pads should also be worn. We will not take responsibility for any injury caused to a child who is not wearing shin pads or appropriate training wear.

INJURY/MEDICAL CONDITIONS : Please inform us of any medical conditions/ illness/ learning difficulties/ injuries prior to the session commencing, so the coaches are aware. You must inform the coaches of any changes as they occur. SPSA/BSFC take no responsibility if they are not informed of any health issues. Please ensure your child has any medicines which they need i.e., Ventolin inhalers or epi pens with him/ her at all times.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE : We do hope you will be extremely happy with our service, but if for any reason you are not, please follow our complaints procedure:

• Speak to the coach where we will try to resolve the matter to your satisfaction.
